Can you rent a car with cash?

Yes you can with the full payment accepted at point of delivery of your booked ride but Wopecar prefers online payment via Visa card or Mobile Money (MOMO)


What do you need to rent a car at Wopecar

A valid driver’s license Location in Ghana Minimum age requirements Acceptable modes of payment (Visa, Paystack, mobile money, cash)


How can I obtain a receipt or proof of payment?

An email of your invoice and receipt will be sent directly to your email.


What forms of payment are available to rent a car?

How do I cancel my booking?

Do I pay a fee for returning a rented car late?

Late returning of your ride attracts an extra 10% fee of the total rented cost unless a time extension is requested by rider.


What are the business days & hours of work

Business days are from Monday - Saturdays Working hours are 8:30am - 6pm each working day We do not operate on Sundays


Can I have my car delivered to me?

Yes you can request for your ride to be delivered directly to your home at a flat fee of GHS40

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel and get a full refund up to 24 hours before your trip starts. If you book a trip with less than 24 hours’ notice, you have one hour after booking to cancel free of charge. If you cancel after the free cancellation period ends, you will be charged a small cancellation fee.


What do I do if I have an accident?

Contact our customer support number 055 147 8540 directly for assistance. Do not attempt to fix any damages to the car on your own. All cars are comprehensively insured as a requirement but damages such as small dents, scratches, flat tires caused by rider will need to be covered by rider.


What are the cleaning and safety policies on Wopecar?

All cars are delivered clean and disinfected by Wopecar. Riders returning cars are required to return their booked cars completely clean


What do I do about fuel?

Cars are delivered fully fuelled to riders Cars must be returned in the same condition i.e. fully fuelled Riders must report and obtain evidence of the fuel level before and after booked trip
